3.09. An employee may require a rest period of at least 10 hours per 24-hour period, except when public health or safety is threatened.

3.09. The employee is entitled to a rest period of 8 consecutive hours and must take that rest period in each 24-hour period, except when public health or safety are threatened. An increase shall be paid for overtime hours until the employee takes such rest period.
